This Christmas, Santa is granting wishes these two friends never knew they had.

Helping his best friend photograph a bunch of hyperactive kids is suddenly the least of Dean Hall’s problems when he sees the costume Talli wants him to wear. No guy in his right mind wants to be seen in a pair of tights.

Talli Jarmen isn’t above a little subterfuge when she’s desperate for help. But getting Dean’s assistance proves to be more than she bargained for when she sees him decked out in the naughtiest Christmas costume she’s ever laid eyes on. She’s never thought about Dean that way, but seeing him practically naked has her questioning their ‘friends only’ status. But wanting more is dangerous. Are they willing to risk all they have for what could be?

Christmas Wishes is another super cute friends turned lovers Christmas themed novella by best selling Aussie Author Rhian Cahill.

When a costume mishap occurs while helping out her friend (Talli), Dean is left feeling a little mortified. Not only does his costumed not fit, but his best friend in the entire world has just seen him in skin tight leggings… with not underwear on. With tensions high, and the chemistry sizzling, will these two friends be able to overcome their new awareness of each other or will they hide behind their safe guarded friendship?

I really loved the premise of this novel. It was short and sweet and hits all the right places that a festive Christmas read should do. The characters are believable, their chemistry sizzling and the story executed perfectly.

Rhian Cahill is an author I’ve only just discovered and I’m so glad I did. Her writing is beautiful and succinct (as you’d expect from a short story/ novella author). Her characters are vivid and easily to relate to, but what’s best of all is that her stories are set in Sydney. It’s refreshing to see home grown authors setting narratives in places you recognise.
