Teaser Tuesday: What Happens In Ireland by Whitney K. E

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. No Spoilers!
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week’s book is What Happens In Ireland by Whitney K.E:

“By some terrible twist of fate, a dark knight on his regal steed had ridden into her life. And yet she could think that it only made sense that a man so downright attractive, so confident, would look so perfect astride a creature of unpredictability”

And I have to share this earlier passage because it made me laugh out loud! I really wanted to use this passage but it kind of flaunts the two sentence rule, but I’m including it anyway 😛

I’m here on a working holiday,” she replied, fiddling with her empty glass. “I’ve been offered a position on a thoroughbred stud in Kerry.”

Jack’s face lit up with recognition. “Ah yes. Many young lasssies come to Ireland for that very reason,” he replied seriously, though his blatant effort to keep one of his heart-stopping grins of his lips betrayed his true emotions.

Kate Prayed he’d give in.

“Yes, but there have been suspicions.”

Her cheeks warmed. “Suspicions?”

“Well, we Irish lads suspect that they don’t really come here for our fine horses but rather, for us fine lads.”

Anybody that knows me well, knows that this book is like my ideal book! Loving it so far 🙂
