I’m still judge reading – though one of the two competitions entries have all been read now – so my reading list is a bit low this week again. I did manage to sneak a couple of books in however that weren’t part of the list, and sadly didn’t get to read too much from last week, so it’s all still on the list to be read. I’m hoping for a better reading list this week and next week so I can catch up on some of the books I’ve been desperate to read. With Easter this week I’ve got an extra day off work, which works out perfectly to be a reading day for me. I’m looking forward to it.
Through work I now read to the Kiddies on Saturday Mornings and had my first ‘Children’s Reading’ session this past weekend where I read two books; the first “If I Were The Easter Bunny” and “The Easter Bunny’s Helper“. I was extremely nervous going into the whole thing, as I’ve never read to kids who don’t happen to be related to me. I had a lot of fun though and despite thinking I wouldn’t get anyone turn up, we were overwhelmed by the number of Children who turned up (I ended up reading to almost 15 kids) and count the experiment as a success. Now I just have to choose what two books to read to this coming Saturday!
You’ll notice that this week’s list of books I Plan To Read throughout the week is missing. That’s because I was unable to choose one book to read yesterday and started to read five books! In a fluke of luck, I managed to read Enslaved By The Ocean by Bella Jewel in one sitting, so I’m now only reading four, but to be honest that’s enough to aspire to read it one week I think :p

I’ll be interested to learn what you thought of Tapestry. I’m generally a fan of McIntosh but I didn’t think much of her last book
The Tailor’s Girl the one you meant? A lot of people have said the same thing. To be honest, I haven’t read it yet. It’s sitting there underneath the Tapestry just waiting for me to read it. Hopefully my review for the Tapestry should go up next week 🙂 Hopefully. I got myself very behind somehow in reviewing, but I’m getting back on track.
