Now Hosted by Book Date
As you can see below, I had full on manic book reading week. I read four full sized novels, plus a variety of Children’s picture books last week AND I wrote a bunch of reviews for the blog. It felt good 🙂
Last week I discovered that 5am was my lucky book time. On Tuesday, I woke up to find an email from iBooks Au saying that my pre-ordered copy of Dirty was now available to download and I grudgingly went off to work only to come home and devour the entire book that afternoon. I haven’t done that before, but I simply loved the book and couldn’t put it down. Then on Thursday, at the same time, I woke up for work only to discover an email from Netgalley saying that I’d been randomly selected to read and review a copy of Wicked Heart by Leisa Rayven; a book I had missed out on requesting on Netgalley, but added to my wish-list none the less and ended up with a copy. And I may have read that the same afternoon as well….
On 6 November 1939 Anna’s father had to go away for a few hours. He left shortly after eleven o’clock. He did not come back again.
An extraordinary new wartime story that will captivate readers young and old. Meet Anna. Meet the Swallow Man. And follow their incredible journey together…
