After years of considering doing it, I have finally taken the plunge and created my own Book Bingo for 2019!
This year I am challenging myself to read a book that ticks off one of each of my bingo hearts in the card below. The idea is to challenge myself to read a variety of different books and formats, some of which are outside of my normal reading comfort zone. Some of them are also within my favourite genres/formats because I’m sneaky like too.
To qualify a book for each heart, I must finish the book in full before either the 31st December 2019 or the completion of the card, whichever comes first. Every heart must be ticked off before BINGO can be deemed completed.
Because I designed this card yesterday, no books finished prior to the 7th January 2019 are eligible for the card. I’ll periodically update my progress throughout the year.
I am seriously so excited for this and can’t wait to see what books are inspired by this challenge.
If you like the idea of Book Bingo’s make sure you check out Ally Appraisal‘s and Lost In A Good Book’s bingo posts as well. Ally has also got a super easy template up in case you want to create your own, so make sure you check it out!
Are you participating in a bingo challenge this year? If so, I’d love to hear about it below!
Yay it looks great!!!!
Thank you for the inspiration and the reintroduction to canva. Man I love that site!
I got so excited when I saw this in my emails!! Congrats on your first bingo, I love the Royalty option! I never think about themes like enemies to lovers. I might need to track some of them down too.
If you want a superb enemies to lovers novel you NEED to read The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. Its AMAZING and not overly heavy of the romance either so. Characters work for a publishing firm I’m pretty sure too and they just feel so damn real.
I had to include tropes. I got so excited when I thought of them and the possible books I could read for them later this year when they are released. I ended up having too many options for the card and kept having to delete some but I’m really happy with how it ended up. The ones I lost were kind of almost cheating ones because they were things I read all the time and would be super easy to do/include.
Oh I have heard that is good! On the list.
It was hard to pick because yeah, things I was things to read anyway don’t count. I didn’t include picture books/YA for those reasons.
