The kids at school are also pretty sure she’s been wearing those same jeans for the last two weeks. Though kids at school are pretty sure Scarlet has been tent sleeping in the Great Smoky Mountains behind the old Oliver place, no one will say a word to her about it. . . except maybe Cletus. 

But Cletus doesn’t give two woodpecker poos what people think. He’s just as weird as Scarlet St. Claire. Cletus is nothing like his older brother Billy Winston. Star quarterback, straight-A student, hard-worker, Billy has saved the Winston family from disgrace time and time again. 

Billy makes no mistakes. Billy is perfect.
