5/5 Stars

‘With my Dad, I can do anything…’ A little boy’s lovable celebration of the endless possibilities and adventures he has with his father.

Fearless With Dad is a book celebrating the relationships between Father’s all around the world and their children.

Cori Brooke’s narrative is short and sweet, making it accessible to readers the entire world over, no matter their age or nationality. Her text is limited to one or two sentences per page, allowing Giuseppe Poli’s illustrations plenty of room to inspire and advance the story.

Poli’s images are heartwarming and adorable. My favourite spreads include the moon travel page where father and son are in snow gear laying in the grass with boxes and buckets placed strategically around them to mimic a space rocket, the superhero page where both are wearing pyjamas with undies on the outside and the zoo pages. I just love everything about them.

Fearless with Dad is the ultimate endearing picture book for Father’s Day. It’s sweet, hopeful and thankful for all the everyday activities kids share with their parents. It’s playful, imaginative and just happy; a simple delight to behold.
