Long lost Reviews (LLR) is a  monthly featured hosted by Ally @ Ally’s Appraisals where bloggers are encouraged to tackle their review backlog with book reviews that have been sitting there for a long time. Reviews can range from in-depth analyses to one sentence statements with no pressure applied. To learn more and see participating blogs visit Ally’s blog here.

Oh man, I can remember reading this serial so well and struggling to write the reviews at the time simply because each installment was so addictive, and yet I was terrified of spoiling something in a review. Previously I did post a Lethal In Love review for Episode 1 (click here to read this review) and Lethal In Love review for Episode 2 (which can be read here).  Given that we are 3 episodes in by this point, I don’t have much to say without spoilers in this review, but just reading it all over again transported me back to when I first read this book and I so want to reread it once more!

Lethal in Love is a steamy romantic suspense about an instinct-driven detective and a sexy, scoop-hungry reporter, both on the hunt for a sadistic killer.

Jayda Thomasz is a sassy homicide detective who never lets her emotions get in the way of a case. So when a serial killer re-emerges after 25 years, the last thing she expects is to catch herself fantasising over the hot, smooth-talking stranger who crosses the path of her investigation.

Seth Friedin is a reporter chasing the story that’ll make his career. When he enters the world of swinging for research, he never imagines he’ll be distracted by a hard-talking female detective whose kiss plagues his mind long after she’s gone.

Past experience has shown Jayda that reporters are ruthless and unscrupulous. But when the murders get personal, will she make a deal with the devil to catch the killer? How far will she and Seth have to go? And do you ever really know who you can trust?

She’s back! And we didn’t have to wait that long this time. THANK YOU MICHELLE SOMERS!

Things are really starting to heat up in Lethal In Love. After finding a piece of Bec’s dress wedged in the car door after a dramatic night.

I really hope that the publisher decides to print this as one entire complete novel one day, as I know a lot of people who would love this story, but just aren’t into the short format or waiting for each part to come out. And to be honest, I totally understand about the wait; I, my myself,  am so impatient as I wait for each installment. This story is just so utterly addictive and compelling, and Somers has one-hundred-percent captivated my attention (and every waking moment in between installments as I try to work out what is happening to our characters and what might happen next).

Full of believable twists and turns, Lethal in Love is a story I want to dive back into time and time again. I can’t wait for the entire story to be out so that I can re-read the book as a whole and see how, and if, this changes my perspective on anything.
